Purse made from Vintage Kids Dress

I had some extra quiet time this morning and it got my creative wheels spinning.

I knew I wanted to make a purse or tote.

Then it dawned on me that my mom had given my daughter a dress 

that was too big and she would not wear it for years.

Here is this dress.

I think I actually wore a dress like this

when I was younger in the 80's.

 I decided to upcycle it because I love the print.

I think it turned out so cute, I love the ruffles!
